I’m Sharn, the proud owner of Everest Build Group. My journey into building started in an unexpected way — after leaving school in Year 12, I worked in civil construction before realizing my real passion lay in building. With a push from my dad and a trial from my father-in-law’s construction company, I found my purpose. Three years later, I was a qualified builder at 21 and soon leading a team of 12 on major projects.
Today, nearly a decade on, I lead Everest Build Group with a tight-knit team of skilled contractors, specialising in high-quality new builds and renovations across Auckland and coastal regions like Whangamatā. We’re known for our efficiency, craftsmanship, and professionalism, delivering homes that stand the test of time.
One of my proudest moments was building my Nana’s home — a reminder that what we create isn’t just structures, but spaces where memories are made. When I’m not on site, you’ll find me on the golf course, playing rugby, or spending time with my fiancée Vic and our daughter.
